Valorización de compost y otros desechos procedentes de la fracción orgánica de los residuos municipales.

El proyecto tiene como objetivo principal contribuir de forma cooperativa a la resolución de los problemas transfronterizos en la valorización de compuestos y otros residuos generados en el tratamiento de la fracción orgánica de residuos sólidos urbanos. Se propone el desarrollo de soluciones tecnológicas y de procesos de valorización innovadores orientados a la producción de bioenergía, biomateriales y productos agronómicos, garantizando una protección ambiental sostenible y el uso más eficiente de los recursos en el sector.
El proyecto permitirá encontrar soluciones tecnológicas innovadoras para la valorización de compuestos y otros desechos procedentes de la fracción orgánica de residuos municipales. Dichas soluciones estarán basadas en tres distintos vectores: valorización bioenergética, producción de materiales y producción de compuestos agronómicos. Los resultados serán publicados en revistas científicas de elevado factor de impacto, permitiendo la mejoría significativa del reconocimiento internacional de los centros de investigación e innovación del partenariado. Las empresas de residuos se verán también beneficiadas con los resultados, ya que podrán disponer de soluciones innovadoras para la resolución de una importante problemática en el sector.
